Riveto, a product discovery platform, is a new product offering from MobiTech Solutions. Bharat Parikh, founder of MobiTech Solutions, is an entrepreneur and a seasoned IT professional with 15 years of IT experience. Bharat has diverse work experience envisaging and implementing business solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
Riveto is the ultimate shopping guide helping users make smart shopping decisions. Users can watch expert review videos of products that they wish to buy, get their questions answered by an engaging online community, and discover product discounts and deals. Riveto curates expert reviewers in order to cut through all the marketing speak and help users make the right unbiased shopping decisions.
How did you get the idea to Riveto?
With number of e-commerce platforms increasing and plethora of discounts, deals, and coupon codes being offered consumer’s fear of buying the right product at right price is increasing. In addition, biased / sponsored reviews, overload of product information available on WWW, and involvement of multiple platforms (blogs, portals, youtube, ecommerce sites, etc.) in product buying process pose an interesting problem to solve in e-commerce space.
Our latest platform Riveto intends to solve this exact problem. Riveto intends to bring expert product reviews, an engaging online community, product info from WWW, and an online shopping experience under one roof.
How difficult was the start and what challenges you had to overcome?
While the technological implementation of the idea is not a challenge the adoption of the product by users pose a challenge. We are planning to implement additional features like giveaways, gamification, etc. to engage users and to increase their contribution in creating community content like reviews, Q&As, etc.
Who is your target audience?
Potential online shoppers who are at a discovery stage in their product buying process and who intend to gather more unbiased information to make an informed buying choice.
What is the USP of your startup?
The platform delivers curated contend based on user’s profile / demographics. We have content in regional language e.g. hindi review videos for Indian audience. Also, the platform is a one stop destination where users can discover products, get more info, and enjoy online shopping experience.
Can you describe a typical workday of you?
A typical workday involves
Analysing the current user base and their platform usage behaviour
Digital and ASO marketing activities
Brainstorming about upcoming features to be included in the platform

Where do you see yourself and your startup Riveto in five years?
In five years duration I expect Riveto platform to host exclusive content (expert videos, how-to guides, etc.) and provide AI driven product discovery and recommendations to it’s users.
