Nuclino, a fresh startup in the collaboration SaaS space, recently closed a six-digit seed round with business angels from the area of Munich, Germany
The interdisciplinary founding team consists of Jonathan Kienzle (Tech), Björn Michelsen (Design), and Veronika Fischer (Business). They met each other at the Center for Digital Technology and Management in Munich, where they already worked together on startup ideas and consulting projects. They founded Nuclino straight after their studies last summer.
Their mission is to help teams unleash their full potential by building a simple and fast real-time wiki. Teams can instantly document projects, share best practices, and collaborate on meeting notes.
“Nuclino is a great example of the new wave of ‘work processing’ tools that build on the foundation of co-editing docs, but add in social sharing and communications,” said Stowe Boyd, a well-known researcher in work technology. “Their focus on ways to organize and visualize information relationships is very innovative, and I am eagerly watching what the inventive team at Nuclino will be rolling out in the next months.
After having officially launched in February, they are growing fast and have “thousands of excited users”, according to co-founder Veronika. They are now looking to grow their team in online marketing and software development.
