Moovy Bag is the ultra-sleek bag that can charge all your electronic devices

Please introduce yourself and your startup Moovy to our readers!
We are Julien Long and Bruno Lin, founders of OUI Smart, a company dedicated to delivering sustainable, high quality tech solutions that improve everyday life, and creators of the game changing Moovy bag. The Moovy bag is a sleek, modern backpack which keeps you organized and connected, on the go.

How did you get the idea to Moovy?
We designed the Moovy Bag because we wanted a sleek, rugged, stylish backpack to use while we’re walking into meetings in different major cities. Then we made is super-functional, adding a full device charging system. Without compromising the look, weight, or what we call carry-ability.

How difficult was the start and what challenges you had to overcome?
OUI Smart spent 2 years connecting with other start-ups that were looking to launch through crowdfunding campaigns, and representing them as they went on to sell their products in the French market.

This period gave us valuable connections, but even more importantly, a lot of insight into the experience, the move from small-scale production to large-scale manufacturing for backers, the eventual push to market, and feedback from end users.

Why did you choose a Crowdfunding?
As a new business, it is difficult to secure capital for production, but with sites like Kickstarter, not only have we been able to go to market more quickly, but we are more closely tied to our customers. From all over the world they send us feedback, make proposals for new products, bring others into our community

What do you want to achieve with the Crowdfunding?
Our objective was 20000€ and thanks to our community we did it within 8 hours. We want to extend our community worldwide, sharing our commun value. With crowdfunding, we are always improving, always learning, and always looking to launch newer and better products.

What is the USP of your startup?
OUI Smart is a company dedicated to delivering sustainable, high quality tech solutions that improve everyday life.

Can you describe a typical workday of you?
As an hardware startup, we went through different stages, prototyping, designing, engineering, manufacturing the working sample. Now we are in the middle of our crowdfunding campaign, so we need to work on logistics, certifications, production and most of all communication, PR, brand awareness. So we are totally focused on those last topics.
We start the day with a quick meeting with team between Hong Kong and France to review our last metrics, goals, objectives, improvement. Then each focus on their task.

Where do you see yourself and your startup Moovy in five years?
We see ourselves with a bigger team and community worldwide, with the vision to create innovative and sustainable high tech products that will improve everyday live.
