Be persistence, purposefulness and never give up!

Marlin1 hydrobike for all cycling lovers

How did you get the idea to Marlin1?
As long as I remember, I’ve always been inventing and constructing something. Industrial design is my passion. I’ve always dreamed of creating something brand new in cycling which also could offer new options for outdoor family activities. It took me long to design a technologically and esthetically perfect vehicle from scratch, to design and adjust it. I’m not the first who try to promote such idea but my project is unique in its own way. Usually construction and design solutions come up by pure chance. If you manage to catch an idea, you’ve got your project.

I’m absolutely sure Marlin1 is just the first step.

How difficult was the start and what challenges you had to overcome?
Despite the fact that many authors tried to design similar vehicles before us we started from scratch and created a technologically and esthetically perfect vehicle. It took us a lot of time to adjust the idea, come up with the design and get in touch with potential producers of necessary component parts. In 2016 thehydro bike Marlin1 and its folding design were patented as a utility model primarily made for water cycling and other water activities. We worked hard on getting the project ready for launch making some adjustments in computer design sketches and model drafts. In early 2017 we built a project team and estimated the requirements for the production site. Today the appropriate project documents are ready and calculations are done.

The project is ready for launch.

Who is your target audience?
We created Marlin1 hydrobike for all cycling lovers and those who cannot imagine their life without exercise.

What is the USP of your startup?
People all over the world are fond of cycling and other outdoor activities. This is what Marlin1 hydrobike is made for. We want to present you Marlin1, a vehicle that makes you experience new emotions and brings a feeling of true freedom to your life.

Can you describe a typical workday of you?
My typical workday is symbiosis of routine and inspiration. I work 24 hours a day.

Where do you see yourself and your startup Marlin1 in five years?
After 5 years we plan to launch mass production of hydrobike (more 10 000 copies per year), replacing the materials more accessible, thereby significantly reducing the market value of the gadget.

The estimated cost of hydrobike Marlin1 about USD 2,000.
