The Stella McCartney Lime project

Fashion designer Stella McCartney, a proponent of change and sustainable fashion, constantly challenges herself to push the limits and to develop products that are modern and effortless. Because of the common vision of sustainability shared by Lime and Stella McCartney, they have decided to team up once again ahead of the designer’s fashion show to be held during PARIS FASHION WEEK®, on Monday 4th of March at 10:00.

Lime will place 50 decorated Lime-S ‘Stella McCartney’ scooters at the entrance of the show, which will be available for journalists and fashion fans. As part of the project, the Stella McCartney fashion house will encourage its community to use Lime and sign up to the company’s ‘Respect The Ride’ pledge.

Lime: a partner for fashion and sustainable mobility

While fashion is focused on expression and creativity, it is also a major part of the Parisian economy and a theme that grows in importance with regards to sustainable development. Lime, with 30,000 daily trips in the French capital, has continued its partnership with Paris Fashion Week®, which is taking place from 25th of February to 5th of March. The most important event for Lime in its biggest market is an inclusive and diverse celebration of fashion for the whole urban community – not only during the fashion shows, but around the whole of Paris.

To highlight its commitments to sustainability, ecology and safety, electric scooters will be made available at the exit of the shows, bringing excitement to the heart of Parisian fashion. Paloma Castro Martinez, recently appointed director of international communications at Lime said:

“Fashion is the trend and the trend today is the urban movement of making the streets your own. As a new player in this movement, and in sustainable mobility in Paris, Lime is an obvious partner of Paris Fashion Week ®.

“Lime is all about new mobility issues and the protection of the urban environment. This is an exchange of ideas, and I am delighted to help bring these two worlds of fashion and mobility together, to the benefit of the urban community.”
