Hamburg becomes the latest city to join Appcircus 2016

Germany’s historic maritime capital and creative hub is the latest city to host Appcircus ’ global showcase.

Appcircus Hamburg have been launched and is intending to be held at Mindspace Hamburg on October 27th, 2016. The event is open to any enthusiastic company, startup or developer with a working mobile app developed for any sector, be it education, travel, gaming or anything in between.

A jury panel of online experts will choose 10 finalists by mid-October, who will then be given the chance to pitch their app on the night of the event in front of an on-stage jury of industry professionals: Marco Maas, CEO at Datenfreunde GmbH/OpenDataCity; Sabine Fäth, Founder of Scribershub GmbH; Niels Hufnagl, Head of Sales & Marketing at Projektbox GmbH; Bernhard Bahners, CEO at and Martin Spitzenberg, Founder & CEO at appmotion GmbH.

The winner will receive a nomination to participate at the Mobile Premier Awards (MPAs) 2017, the largest app awards and showcase to take place during the Mobile World Congress.

Getting a spot in such an exciting industry is always a challenge, therefore Appcircus , the biggest worldwide app showcase, is offering this great opportunity for app creators. Germany’s Mimi (Winner of this February’s ‘Big Impact Award’ at the Mobile Premier Awards) used the event as their launching platform to reach industry professionals while last year’s Glovo, the winning app from 2015’s Barcelona event, went on to receive much media attention, including pieces in Vogue and El Pais, and received a nationwide launch resulting in over 100K installs to date.
