We are a leading innovation company in asset- and risk management developing cutting-edge high-tech solutions for the financial service market.

How did you get the idea to AAAccell?
We were always between industry and academia and noticed that there is so much more at hand in research that was/is just not used within the industry. And this was not because it cannot be used, rather it was not offered clear enough to the industry. Hence, we were best situated to build the company that transform cutting-edge research from ETH Zurich, University Zurich, Columbia University NY and others into practical solutions for the financial service industry.

How difficult was the start and what challenges you had to overcome?
The University provides very good support as well as the Swiss ecosystem. We had no challenges in the beginning.

Who is your target audience?
We work primarily for the Financial Service Industry in Switzerland, Germany, UK and US.

What is the USP of your startup?
There is no other company in our space that can transform latest top-level research results into hands-on solution for the FS market.

Can you describe a typical workday of you?
Not really – Each day is different, challenging and comes with many working hours. There is always part of client work, product work, administration, finance, HR and marketing. Most of the time is client time.

Where do you see yourself and your startup AAAccell in five years?
Strong footprint in Switzerland and Germany, business in UK, Austria and Asia.

What 3 tips would you give other Start-up founders on the way?
– Give yourself enough time and be authentic
– Understand that there will be many ups and downs, understand the trend
– Make sure it works before you invest too much into marketing
